Establish the Vision

Our initial priority is to establish a clear vision based on our client’s business needs, use cases, and preexisting paint points. Once this key element is visualized, we proceed guided by Best Practices in all phases of UX design.

Empathize with Users

We spend focused time identifying an accurate problem statement which identifies user pain-point or the problem we seek to solve with our design. This is an actionable summary of users, their goals, and what is required to be solved in order to meet those goals.

Define the Problem

In creating a concise problem statement, we ensure that all stakeholders remain in sync from the project outset. This supports continuity and focus on for whom we are designing the solution. The defined problem illustrates how and why the proposed solutions will benefit the user, and why it is important to an impactful product.

Ideate Solutions

In order for designers to generate new ideas, ideation is a central part of the process. From a Design Thinking perspective, ideation assists in challenging preexisting assumptions and venture into new areas of thought.

Design Prototypes

Our approach to prototyping is holistic in nature and driven by our honed design acumen to develop elegant, functional designs. We relish the process of evolving concepts from wireframes to functional mockups as it helps bring a concept into tangible existence. We leverage all industry leading software platforms to develop impactful designs and collaborate across workstreams and stakeholder groups.

Test Iterations

A key element of our iterative testing process focuses strongly on Usability Testing in order to gather unmoderated feedback. As we better understand who our users are and the goals they want to accomplish via our product or interface, it is essential to improving the user centered design experience.

IMPLEMENT

Implement Solutions

Based on successful product deployment, the iterative phase transitions to real-time monitoring of the intended outcomes. Ongoing live user testing provides necessary feedback for post-GoLive iterations and fine tuning of user flows and conversion success. This phase is intended to seamlessly evolve beyond launch and into KPI measurement for ongoing improvements of the product or service lines.

Measure Impact

By focusing on the core KPIs of each project, we focus on rates of adoption, retention, and task success or completion. System usability problems are monitored after product launch and customer satisfaction levels inform the general process. Successful product launch marks the end of the initial process and the beginning of the true test of the UX design’s measurable impact and success in meeting the business requirements.
